Looking inside the walls (aka "Coring") is the next step in inspecting. Providing access openings to the interior of wall voids for information on moisture and damage. This may be required for litigation inspections. In the "Coring” process we remove a small section of the siding materials. A (4" x 4") area may be cut in to the siding material. Any damaged materials are removed and stored for later use. The area is to be patched with an access cover by a licensed siding contractor. Generally we need between 1 to 5 openings installed. |
